Below is a random assortment of some of my photographs. Teaching photography has led me to a great appreciation of the new advances in digital photography. Expanded dynamic range allows for greater color capture than film. Lack of reciprocity allows for faster shooting and the ability to take thousands of images without the expense of film allows students to learn at a much faster rate. I do miss the tactile elements of analogue photography and the lack of true grain is a disappointment. However these negatives are far outweighed by the ability to perform image editing without the expense and hazards of chemical processes.
